Cask gravity at GBBF 2011. Very dark brown thin beige head. Choccy English porter which is quite attractive. Not a bad beer. Really quite decent. Easy drinking choc.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. Loose, bubbly tan head; clear but deep ruddy brown body. Roasted malts, leather, hints of coffee & a slight caramel background sweetness on the nose. Leathery, roasty, some milk chocolate and barnyard notes at the back. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, short & light bitterness.

Clear dark black - red brown colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark chocolate malt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110802]

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours clear brown with a light film head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Nice flavor, light tangy and dark malts, faint roast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Slight mineral finish, further notes of tangy, dark malts. Enjoyable beer.
