Cask gravity at GBBF 2011. Very dark brown thin beige head. Choccy English porter which is quite attractive. Not a bad beer. Really quite decent. Easy drinking choc.

Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. Loose, bubbly tan head; clear but deep ruddy brown body. Roasted malts, leather, hints of coffee & a slight caramel background sweetness on the nose. Leathery, roasty, some milk chocolate and barnyard notes at the back. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, short & light bitterness.

Clear dark black - red brown colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark chocolate malt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110802]

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark chocolate, sweet, wood notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20110804]

Cask at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours clear brown with a light film head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Nice flavor, light tangy and dark malts, faint roast. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Slight mineral finish, further notes of tangy, dark malts. Enjoyable beer.

Cask @ GBBF 2011. A black colored beer, with a small beige head. The aroma of some coffe beans with some sweet dark fruits. The taste is gentle bitter, moving to stronger. A thin sweet of fruits. The aftertaste is dry, bitter and a little sweet.

Sweet coffe aroma. Full palate. Sweet coffee body too. Good balance, easy drinker. Nice rich porter - enjoyed it.

Cask@GBBF2011. Pitch black colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, mild roasted notes as well as some liquorice and some mild earthyness. Flavour is roasted malts, toffee and some mild nutty notes. Mild ashyness in the finish.
