Cask@Dartford BF. Some sulfur on the nose, lightly green and probably not quite ready. Not very intersting any way, resiny, with some sort of cleaning polish character.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 15, 2010
Cask-conditioned at the Eldon House, Bristol 15/05/10. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweet malts and citrus fruit aroma, with a touch of grassy hop. Flavour was similar, with fruity malts and a dry, citrus finish, Ok.

Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Orange gold with some white head. Quite a still, sweetish beer with a fruity malty feel to it. Some light, floral hop, but mostly a lemony, sweet flavour. Light finish.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 18, 2009
BC from The Wine Cellar. Lager gold with a slender white head persisting solidly. Quite an attractive aroma mingling faint sulphur, occasional farmyard, beeswax, orange and lime citrus, hop leafiness, boiled sweet caramel and almond. Dry, nutty and bittersweet with a lingering hop bite but plenty of softening vanilla, peanut and dunked biscuit. Too much acidity. Slick and soft with little fizz but plenty of condition. Like an unfiltered real lager, but enjoyable. Dowbridge are worth checking out, and whilst their bottle conditioning seems to occasionally impart an unwelcome acidity to their beers, it doesn’t detract hugely from their enjoyment, and embarrasses some of their local counterparts.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 19, 2004
Beer #40 at Dartford Beer Festival with SilkTork and Duff. A straight down the middle best bitter. Nothing to excite, nor to offend. Lightish copper colour. Some malt, some hops, reasonably well balanced, with a dry finish. A pretty reasonable effort. Cask (gravity dispense).
