I bought this from Rumble’s in Wellington hoping that it would be a lovely complex flavourful IPA, it wasn’t! Very thin body with little aroma or flavour. At 7% i expected more from it, at least a solid malt background. All in all it wasn’t what you’d expect from an IPA, it wasn’t hop driven and is a poor beer

courtesy of Toni Flükiger - slightly hazy golden-orange colour with a very foamy white head; resiney nose with notes of pear and apple; clean and medium malt body, creamy mouthfeel and with a solid bitterness; very dry and bitter resiney and fruity finish - robust and straightforward

Golden, hazy with particles of yeast. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Low carbonation and oily. The beer is somewhat sweet, fruity with moderate hops. Noticeable alcohol. Within it’s class a C, overall C+

Cask gravity @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Light light unclear light to medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate hoppy, resin. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (020508)

Clean deep blond color. Quite hoppy aroma, light manure in the beginning. Good caramel flavor, a bit harsh, with a prepotent hopping. Interesting.

Pours the right colour for the style anyway, a pale straw. unusual aroma of grassy leafy hops, slightly funky. The taste is dominated by the same hop flavour. I was hoping for some complex sweetness but it’s all dry. I got used to it by the time I finished it. interesting at least.
