COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular - 6.8% & Bottled: Unfiltered - 7.0%.
A traditional India Pale Ale, brewed with a hugely increased hop rate for a strong, floral aroma, and a powerful, bitter taste. This award winning IPA is seriously drinkable, but deceptively strong…. not a beer to be taken lightly! Strong, hoppy and refreshing. Bursting with hoppy resin flavours and citrus, this is an IPA with a bite. Light enough in flavour to be refreshing for the summer, yet strong enough to be warming in the winter.

Hazy golden with a lasting white head. Fruity and grassy aroma with grainy malt. Dry and malty flavour with a fruity touch. Grassy hops in a bitter finish

Cask at the Wandsworth Common Spring BF, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy-bubbly, white head. Toasty dough nose with some sweet citrus and light hay notes. Medium sweet flavor with dirty, bitter hay, some lemon and orange, toasty straw, white sugar, biscuits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky, lightly resinous finish with sweet straw and citrus rind. Not bad. A fairly progressive British IPA.

500 ml bottle. 7.0%. From beersofeurope.co.uk.
Clear pale orange golden colour with small white head. Caramel malty aroma with fudge sweetness and fruity hops. Flavour is bitter hoppy with balancing strong maltiness and fresh fruitiness. Heavy. Warming.

Cask from pub in London, Eng. Served a golden color with decent head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus with a hint of spice. Malty with a mild sweetness, a subtle bitterness and dry finish. Medium body, smooth with the 6.8% ABV well hidden. A real English IPA, not like the one from back in the states. Good for a few but beware of the alcohol that sort of sneaks up on you. Worth a try from Cask.

50cl bottle from the Home Brew Shop, Aldershot. Dark straw with a ring of white head; heady aroma, packed with tropical fruit and alcohol; thick and oily in the mouth with lots of tropical fruit - even coconut; leading to a dry resinous finish. Definitely worth a try!

@ Bree Louise, zona Euston, Londra; una classica IPA inglese, molto equilibrata e floreale, quasi speziata, giusto un assaggio, gentile omaggio della barista, dopodichè ho optato per una black ipa di Conqueror.

Hand pulled at the Shakespeare, Birmingham. Fizzy orange gold, with a melting white frothed barnet. Thick in the mouth, very sweet, slightly cloying and the alcohol strength feels overpowering and a little on the sickly side. Reasonable, but certainly not delicious and as per usual, not an IPA in the way that our cousins would define it, and not in the way I would like.
