Oct 25, 2004 Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Golden beer, no head, and a marginal hop aroma. Slightly sulphuric skunky mouthfeel - bad hops, rotting vegetation etc. Has some of the elements of a good beer, but not as required. I must admit, the lageriness of this passed me by, but may explain a lack of flavour, and vulnerability.

Oct 25, 2004 Cask@Twickenham BF. Quite lagery. Slightly sulphury nose, with some grain, bready malts (quite pale in colour). Slight woodyness, and also a touch of grass, pretty thin and forgettable.

Oct 22, 2004 Updated: Feb 1, 2005Cask conditioned at the Twickenham Beer Festival. Lager like, but I suspect that this is brewed with an ale yeast. Sweet & Malty.

Oct 21, 2004 Had on draught from the Cask in The Alex, Derby. No Sparkler.
Light golden colour. Quite a strong alcohol taste (despite only being 4.2%) yet still quite palatable.
Not much body or aftertaste to it.
I got quite an odd smell from it.
