Cask. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, flowery and mildly grassy hops along with nectar and quite sweet malts. Flavour is wooden, grassy and also has some balancing fruity hops. Fresh and pleasant to drink on the terrace.

(Cask at St Urho’s on 2008-04-08) Golden colour. A bit hazy. A bit fruity nose containing yeast and hops. Taste comes mostly from hops.

Cask at the Bricklayers Arms in Putney, 2nd April 2008. Very slightly hazy gold with an orange tinge. Elderflower and floral hops awaken the nose and after a sweet nectar/honey start to the flavour, a floral bitterness emerges to balance things out. Firm palate with a bitter finish. Probably a little sweeter than the Elderquad.

Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
Orange, thin head. Smells like a rats cage - grainy. Taste quite similar, simple malt and decent hops. Nothing really jumps out of the glass, but a fairly solid sessionable bitter. Sweet and candy there too, and a slight ginger component to the body and the finish.
