3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Mungo (2472) - Southampton, - MAR 26, 2008
Cask conditioned @ Waterloo Arms, Soton. Brewed with 4 european hop varieties: Styrian Goldings, Marynka, Zatec and something else I think. Deep golden. There are some pleasant grassy herbal hop flavours here with a little zest but the slightly sweet malty caramel builds and overpowers what are fairly delicate flavours. Drinkable enough but I’d prefer the hops to show through a bit more.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MesandSim (7109) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 6, 2009
A Mes rate. Gravicask at Le Gothique. A very slightly hazy nice golden blonde with a good white head and excellent condition. A good fruity, very English beer with some passion fruit and a pale malt base. Certainly a good blend of hops. Lovely and dry with some excellent biscuit malt and just really well balanced all round. Loads of flavour, glorious mouthfeel, very good stuff.

Cask. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, flowery and mildly grassy hops along with nectar and quite sweet malts. Flavour is wooden, grassy and also has some balancing fruity hops. Fresh and pleasant to drink on the terrace.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - APR 4, 2008
Cask at the Bricklayers Arms in Putney, 2nd April 2008. Very slightly hazy gold with an orange tinge. Elderflower and floral hops awaken the nose and after a sweet nectar/honey start to the flavour, a floral bitterness emerges to balance things out. Firm palate with a bitter finish. Probably a little sweeter than the Elderquad.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 FatPhil (6210) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 31, 2008
Cask (Gallows Bird, Espoo)
Orange, thin head. Smells like a rats cage - grainy. Taste quite similar, simple malt and decent hops. Nothing really jumps out of the glass, but a fairly solid sessionable bitter. Sweet and candy there too, and a slight ginger component to the body and the finish.
