Cask conditioned at Far from the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Pale gold with white head. A little thin and grainy, with a biscuity, shortbread malt flavour. Just a little bland.

Cask at the Magpie & Crown. Dark gold with a clingy white head, loads of grassy hops on the nose, plus hints of pomegranate and mint. Great balance on the tongue of light biscuity and buttery malt with sharp, dry and fruity hops.

Cask handpull at Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Gold, thick lasting head. Decent golden ale, some citrus hop, bit of lemon/tangerine. Smooth in mouth. I mean sparklers what can you do? Bit of yeast on aroma, good in mouth, good finish. Better than average, but still very samey to beers in this style.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 07/02/10. Golden in colour with a decent white head. Sweet malt, hay and apricot aroma. Light mouth feel, with some biscuit malts, more fruits, and a short , bitter finish. Ok.
