3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: OCT 24, 2006 Oct, 2005 JDW, Greenwich. Hoppier (and creamier) than the average session bitter. Surprisingly fat and fruity for a low abv session drink. Doesn’t work for me. [2.7]
Oct, 2006 Bird In The Hand, Henley-on-Thames Pale coloured. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Not aggressive hops, but full flavoured. Dusty, earthy, very English. Good, thirst quenching session. Lovely. [3.8]

Cask @ The Rake, november 07. Clear, pale golden color with a long lasting small, bubbly white head. Hoppy, mineral, citric taste. Very prominent hoppiness with some great peachy touches. Perfumey and captivating. Mineral, salty finnish. Great. Medium mouthfeel, some chewy hops with a nice malt backbone. Amazingly solid for a 3,9%. Mineral, lemony/hoppy aroma. Perfect, refreshing, tasty ordinary bitter.

Cask at the Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace. Honey coloured pour with a white head. Fruity old nose, a splash of pear and stewed apple in there. Fruit filled flavours, bit of pear drop action. Bitter-fruit finish. Nice.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Gravity cask at the Bree Louise, London NW1 UK on 9th June 2009.Pale gold/straw-coloured ale with small white head and almost clear body. The two salient aromatic notes were biscuit and moderate grapefruit, otherwise strongly hoppy in first kick, citric in aftertaste with a slightly chalky mouthfeel underpinned by a grassy hoppy finish which lingers between sips. Enjoyable pint.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Light golden with soap bubble head. Initially thin, light malt base, gentle palate, then comes the interesting part. A whole range of hoppy notes, from flabby oily veg through to lemony late hop. The tongue is kept searching for flavours and never settles down. Not assertive enough as a session bitter, but an interesting beer.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Pours clear golden with an off-white/yellowish head. Nice lacing. Soft hoppy aroma - great! Flavour is hoppy and bitter. Soft and slightly watery. Hoppy bitterness in the finish. Lingering notes of apple. Has somewhat of a ‘bite’ to it. Not very complex, but a nice well-hopped session beer. 24-01-08.
