Cask@The Rai d’Or, Salisbury. Lime-yellow, not much head. Mild papery and hoppy nose. Sweet, honeyish, malty with hoppy aftertaste. A bit watery, although refreshing in the hot summer day.

Cask. A bit pale golden, clear, and with a micro-sized white head. Bitterness, piney hops and citrus in the aroma. Quite fruity flavor with the hops dominating. Some malt and citrus as well. Medium body. Quite pleasant. (060710)

Takeaway from cask @ Bitter Virtue, Soton. Slightly farty initially. Once this burns off light hop aromas lead into a fairly dry beer with pronounced bitter finish. Slightly one-dimensional but nevertheless quite refreshing.

Hand pulled at the Anchor, Birmingham. Another beer brewed in honour of Euro 2004, and supped whilst watching England triumph over the Swiss. A bright, light Blonde ale. Fresh, fruity, with a slight dry quality. Very balanced and refreshing. Bitter in the mouth.
