Cask Conditioned at the Wenlock Arms, London 23/09/09. Reddish-brown in colour with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with a hint of roastiness. slightly sweet, red fruit flavour with doughy malt and a short, bitter finish. Ok.

Cask Handpump at the Crown Inn, Stockport 03/10/2009 Floral and slightly fruity aroma. Bronze coloured rich on the palate and fruity with a little bitterness in a malt finish.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Had this as 4.3%. Toffee malt, bit of coffee, bittersweet annoyingness, grassy hop. Unsure about this one.

Cask conditioned Handpump Wootton WMC. A dark chestnut coloured beer which poured with no head. The aroma is toasty and roasty with a little coffee note. The taste is dry and fruity with more coffee and some brown bread. Ends a little watery but it’s ok.
