Darker brown with a creamy nitro head. Aroma was some nutella, some roasted malts and a touch of floral hops. Thinner but with a nice flavour of roasted malt. Bittering finish.

On tap at the brewery. It pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma is nice with milk chocolate and roast. The flavor is roasted malt and cocoa with a little coffee and anise. Weak palate, but overall not bad.

Pours a nice black with a hint of red, and a white head. Not much smell, a little nutty. Taste starts sweet, with some coffee and chocolate. Slightly hoppy finish. Had on tap at the Brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap 3(?) oz. sampler at Downtown Joe's Restaurant & Brewery. Opaque, nearly black brown with a thin tan head and very good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and toffee. Taste of roast coffee and toasted malt. Medium/light body and light carbonation. The light mouthfeel seems more typical of a dry stout than a porter. To me, this beer needed more body to go well with its strong roasted aspects. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft. Deep brown with fizzy rootbeer head and sticky lace. Aroma of coffee, tartness, and acrid roast products. Flavor is sharp and fruity, though a very pleasant herbal, minty note remains on the palate. Mouthfeel is on the grippy side; I crave more body in this beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours dark blackish brown with an ok light tan head. Light dark roast aroma. Medium body. Mild carbonation. Flavors of dark malt coffee, and vanilla? Mildly dirty/gritty btter finish with a coffee ground aspect. Good!!
