COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Slightly sweet caramel maltiness is balanced with just the right amount of Willamette, Cascade and Tettnang hops to produce a medium bodied, mildly hoppy best selling ale.

Clear orange with a creamy off white head. Very faint malry aroma and a faint molasses and grain taste.

Tap at the brewpub in Napa. Clear light amber pour with a clingy white head. Mild caramel malt on the aroma and taste. Just a touch of hops in the flavor to add a bit of bitterness. Okay.

I had this at the brewpub in downtown Napa. Nothing really stood out in the flavor save a touch of stickiness.

This was a draft pout at the brewpub in Napa. It came in the glass a clear dark amber with an off-white head and light lacing. Nose of roasted caramel malts. Medium body. Flavor is mostly roast malts, Some bitterness in the finish from the hops.

Draft. Red with dissipating soapy white head. Very pleasant spicy, candylike nose. Great balance of sweet honey, bitter tea, robust crunchy toasty malts, and sharp minty stuff. A shade thin and mineral, but would be a great pair with greasy food. Oozes with subtle, charming character. Good on ya, Colin.

Pours dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of roast caramel. Medium body with strong, foamy carbonation. Flavor is roast malt, and it is quite spicy. Much hoppier than your average amber. Quite good for an amber.

Amber ody with a decent retaining head. Aroma is sugary with some nutty undertones and faint hops. Quite sweet with a caramel taste and a light hop kick for balance.

5.6%abv. Bright amber color with slighty sweet and nutty aroma and flavor. Balanced well with some slightly citrusy hop character. Rich and full bodied for an amber. Nice beer.

Had this in the brewery on vacation from England. More hoppy than the English bitters that I drink at home, but it had a depth that was unexpected. It had a freshness that didn’t pall even after a few pints and stood up for itself against some excellent bufalo wings.

Draft. Rich amber color with an off-white head. Nutty malt flavor with some roastiness and caramel. Light nutty aroma. Some hops balancing. Nice malt complexity. Clean finish.
