Bottle. Pours with a two-finger fluffy head; almost a black color. Denser roasted malts in the aroma and flavor, but the taste gives way to a sweet hint of chocolate and toffee. Lighter body than I would have liked, and fizzy carbonation. Not bad at all.

Hazy mahogany with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. Flavor was fairly dry with roasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Finished dry and slightly bitter.

Bottled. A hazy brown beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, nuts, and some spices leading to a dry nutty finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours dark brown with a small bubbly tan head. Aroma is fruity and dark roasted malty. Floral. Dark roasted malty. Bitter and dark roasted malt finish, light hoppy and fruity. Ends dry and slight acidic.

Bouteille 33 cl achetée au Grain d’Orge ŕ Crissier (CH). Brune grenat, peu pétillante sous une mousse brunâtre. Parfum malté, caramel et note acidulée. Plutôt douce, avec une amertume correcte, pointe de réglisse et note de poussičre et de brűlé. Etalement moyen sur le caramel amer et sécheresse finale.

Cloudy amber color, quite firm head. The aroma, is sweet, of sugar, some caramel, light vanilla. The flavor is ordinary, nothing to outline, just a light sourness.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2004 Bottled, thanks Bov! Ruby colour. Loads of citric acid in the nose. Sweet and clean with sharp mouthfeel. Really poor.

hazy brown-amber colour, almost no foam, plum and rose aroma with some malty notes, sweet, light to medium-bodied with a finishing bitterness (a bit harsh), the finish is slightly dry and quite short - fresh and easy
