UPDATED: OCT 14, 2010 re-rate, 10/2010, courtesy of Pierre-André Priamo and the Gab’s crew - cloudy blond-orange colour with a little persistent foam; correct lacing; weird aroma of cane sugar, pear and hints of spices; moderate carbonation, some sweetness and a good malt body, a fair bitterness, slightly dry and long spicy and gently fruity finish
re-rate, 6/2004 - cloudy orange colour with a nice head and lacing, the aroma shows notes of apricot and alcohol with a touch of diacetyl, sweet with a good maltiness followed by a long and dry aftertaste of unfermented malts and diacetyl - some fermentation problems here for sure; too bad because this could be a really good one. 12/2002 (7/3/6/3/14) - amber-orange colour, the head disappears quickly, subtle spicy nose, malty with notes of alcohol, sweet and oily, light bitterness, full-bodied, long herbal finish

Bottle 330ml.

[ Trade by fiulijn ]. Clear medium to dark orange yellow colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, fruity sweet malt malt, light to moderate yeasty, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long to average duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120317]

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Golden with a small white head. Yeasty and dusty aroma with a touch of banana. Dry and slightly tart flavour with banana and lemon notes

Bottle @ FOneFan. Slightly hazy dark yellow with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, yeast and spices. Flavour is malt, sweet, fruit, yeast, little phenols and some orange peel.

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours cloudy golden with a egg white head. Yeast and vegetables. Acidic yeasty flavor with hints of rotten fruit. Thin.

Appearance: Light orange, slightly hazy. Good amount of white head. Aroma: Lots of fruit, flowers, some spices. Taste: Fruit, sweetness. Some hops and spices. Info: 330ml bottle, 7/8-2011

Bottle. Very thin white head; hazy burnt orange rust hue. Aroma is pretty muted; hints of vanilla some floral hop presence perhaps?, and some slight sweetness. Tastes a lot better than suggested in the aroma: sweetness comes through first, but fruity and not overly sugary, booziness is hidden, but warming in the back of the throat, and some orange sneeks in with some honey in the finish. Medium body and tight carbonation.

Hazy pale orange with a medium sized off white head. Yeasty aroma with malt and fruity notes. Flavor had malt, yeast, plenty of phenol and ripe fruits. Finished sweet. Warming alcohol towards the end.

33 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is dry phenolic and sharp yeasty. Malty and yeasty. Dry phenolic. Mild fruity.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy and opaque golden with a white head. The nose has some fruit and Belgian yeast. Solid body, overripe fruit and some rather aggressive and unpleasant phenols that spoil most of the fun. Some alcohol in the finish. 250810

Bottled. Wheat aroma with hints of apple and banana. Cloudy, yellow color, firm white head, good lace. Sweet, malty, light citric, light fruity, quite full. Bit unbalanced but certainly has potential. Thanks Savad for the bottle.
