There were strange metallic and alcoholic notes in the taste. The colour was far darker than one would expect for a german pilsener. However, the beer might have been spoiled as it was already a bit past best before.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas leicht gelblich, etwas trüb und keine schöne Krone. Sehr wenig CO2 sprudelt zudem empor. Der Geruch ist hopfig säuerlich, minimal getreidig. Erinnert sehr an ein Zwickl. Der Antrunk ist säuerlich, hopfig bitter und dezent getreidig. Der Abgang ist ebenfalls sehr säuerlich hopfig. Insgesamt sehr unstimmig, und alles andere als ein Pils.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, stable "average" head, mild malty-grainy and grassy nose with a mineralic tinge; light sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied as well,pretty soft; slightly increasing hoppiness towards the short bitter-malty finish. Nothing wrong with it, but all in all pretty boring......

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Golden color with small particulates, quickly vanishing head. Sweet honeyish and malty aroma . Sweet honeyish, malty and worty flavor with restrained peppery hops. Medium bitterness. Strong sweet maltiness, more hops would give better balance.

(swing top bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a dense medium-sized foamy white head. Grassy and herbal hoppy aroma with a mild malty background. Moderately bitter flavour, light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Quite slim pale malty base with grassy and herbal hops; slim, almost a bit watery bitter hoppy finish. 25.II.11

Bottled (from mein-biershop.de). Quite much yellow colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is bready malts, herbs and some slight notes of grass. Flavour is quite much the same along with a slight mild white peppery finish. Pleasant.

It’s hazy golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, light fruit and apple. The flavor is sweetish with notes of malt, fruit and hay.

Clear light to medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, bread, grain, hay, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091003]

Bottle @ German Tasting Ulfborg. Pours cloudy yellow with a small creamy white head. Grain and rubber. Watery and dry. A A bit rough.
