At Wvrst. Sweet milk stout, mellow, chocolate, nicely carbonated. Impresive lineup of Great Lakes beers.

[4927-20121108] Tap. Coffee roasted malt grain aroma. Black body with a long-lasting creamy mocha head. Creamy roasted coffee malt and sweet chocolate roast throughout the flavour with a lovely bitter hops undertone. Full richly creamy body. Delicious and completely an amazing beer, I would easily and happily drink this all night and forever ever after. (9/5/9/5/17) 4.5

Update: We found out later this took over the same line as the Peche Mortel. The second sample was not the same so I averaged my numbers from both samples. Originally I had this rating at 4.9, comfortably.

Draught at ’Project X’ at Wvrst, Nov. 8. Pours a dark reddish-brown with a small long-lasting creamy light-brown head. Nice aroma, quite chocolaty along with roasted malt, a hint of coffee, some lactic notes and light hops. Flavour is also quite chocolaty, lightly roasty and a bit creamy and has a semi-bitter finish. A touch watery. Average bodied. Very good.

Pours dark choclate-brown, not quite black with very little head from bottle. Good aroma with caramel, chocolate and maybe a little coffee. Taste is medium sweet.

2012-11-08. Black body with brown accents, nice brown head and lace. 4+ Moderate aroma, light roast, sort of dusty not quite chalky quality to it, sweet dark malt. 7++ Sweet malty core, light roast, dusty malt accents. 7+ Very smooth average plus bodied palate. 3+ Pretty nice stout! Milk stout brewed for moustache themed charity event for men’s health, at WVRST tap takeover. Lactose. OK coffee taste. Serviceable milk stout.
