Heavily aromatic of fruit esters, citrus and underlying banana custard tones, Aureus is well attenuated with mellow rounded bitterness. Golden with a rocky white head, its complex light-medium body and alcoholic strength adds a smooth warming character, which becomes more apparent at room temperature. It unlocks all of its secrets at cellar temperature and can be aged up to two years.

750 mL bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy orange color with a large foamy tan head. Average head retention. Aroma of bread, spice, yeast, dry citrus, herbal notes and a mild tinny note. The taste is stone fruits, yeast, bready malts, bubblegum, lots of spice. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering spice.

Pours hazy gold with 3-finger frothy white head that laces well. Nose is limey citrus, banana custard, funk, hopcitrus. Tastes citric, wiith notes of fruit, funky yeasty, malt, and a floral dry finish. Reminds me of an 80/20 mixture of biere de garde and pinot grigio.

750 ml bottle thanks to Dan. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A lemony yeasty belgian malt nose. The flavor is big dry fluffy yeast, banana, spices, lemons, zesty, mellow overall. Solid.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky yellow-gold color with a medium sized creamy white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was a lovey mix of sweet orange, tangerine and bread dough. The flavor flavor was very strong sweet sugar and tangy candied fruits - mostly pear, peach and orange with a strong yeasty and bready undertone and a hint of vanilla cream. Long finish of sweet and tangy candied fruits and just a touch of alcohol showing through at the edges. Thick body and amazingly creamy. Astounding!

This poured a cloudy darker golden color with a white head. Aroma was medium spices and esters, yeast and some coriander definitely. Flavor was a bit more complex than aroma, vanilla and orange peel are there slightly, sweet and spicey at the beggining and then bready on the finish. Definitely worth drinking, but a bit hollow. Glad to see this new brewery put out something decent on the first run.

12 ounce bottle pours a cloudy orangish color with aromas of citurs, banana, yeast, zest, and corriander. Flavors are the same, light fruity aspects with some belgiun yeast thrown in. Nice beer overall.

Well, let me tell you, this stuff hides the alky content well. Very light yellow color. Sparkling attitude in the glass. Not much aroma, just clean and attractive. Very little co2 on the tongue. Creamy head. A little sweet and almost cloying but never quite gets there. Interstingly complex.

From bottle. Fruity and subtle sweet nose. Light tripel-like yeasty notes with some orange, vanilla, and coriander. Hazy golden amber with creamy-foamy white lacing head. Medium heavy body with medium carbonation and light warming. Starts and stays sweet with fruity character and notes of orange, honey, coriander, and a bit of vanilla. Carbonic acidity with a fruity acidic note, too. Sweet until the finish with mild hop bitterness and a light lasting fruit rind bitter after. Dregs add more fruity acidity - pops up front, then dull bitterness.
