CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAY 14, 2011
On tap at the 2011 Max’s Belgian Fest: Pours a clear pale golden with a clingy-lacing white head. Has a lightly sweet pale malty nose with a light fruity and clove spice complexity. Starts with good fullness and chewy light biscuity complexity with some mild strawberry candy notes before a drier earthy biscuity finish with some lager yeasty character. A pretty unique and enjoyable brew.

Bottle at netwerk cultural centre in aalst. I seemed to like this a lot more than most people here. Very nice golden color with a perfect creamy head. Admittetly, not a very complex aroma, very strong, fruity. And pleasant aftertaste, malty but doesn’t linger for too long. Very nice tripel.

Draft from Capone’s. Pours hazy deep golden with white head. Nose is funky yeasty spice, hops, rock sugary malt. Tastes medium in palate heft and complexity level, with ricky malt, spice, funky yeasty fruit, and a crisp finish.

Pours a beautiful tarnished amber with a billowy eggshell head. nose is thick with wheat and yeast. Medium mouthfeel bursting with a fresh yeast taste. Finishes clean, but flat, with heavy dough and pretzel elements. A fine beer.

JorisPPattyn (7308) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 16, 2011
Good, fine bubbled light-yellowish head over veiled orange-ochre beer. Perfumed-creamy nose, as something for the skin based on avocado, lightly toasted porridge and yeast. Lightly citrussy & toasty, quite dry flavour, near absence of restsugars, but all the same honeyimpression warming up. Yeasty & fruity finish. Dry, faintly spritzy, seems well-attenuated, slick. Good tripel, quite drinkable.
