Nejhleader (780), Hummelstown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 22, 2007 I thought this was really amazing. Nice pilsener style, sweet, almost a candycane sweet. Had a bit of spice, nice smooth body, very nice brew.

TomDecapolis (2416), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2007 On tap at the D Room. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a medium creamy lacing white head. Aroma of light citrus, floral, cereal grains and pretzels. Lots of hop flavor and bitterness, some grapefruit, bready and piney. Being a lager there is not a whole lot of fruitiness so the hop flavor and bitterest is up front. Ty5592 (1009), Hatfield, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 29, 2007 Tap. Yellow with nice white head. Aroma was pilsner like. Malty note throughout. The taste was pretty firm with some sweetness. citrus hop finish. Thicker. The sign stated that this was an imperial pilsner.....thats what it looked and tasted like, not a european strong ale. obxdude10 (1387), Reading, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 21, 2007 As far as "regular ol-" lagers go, this is one of the best, a dark golden color with a modest white head, left a nice lacing around the glass, nose of wheat, slight citrus & bread, flavors of grapefruit, caramel & toast, full-bodied, got that "full" feeling after finishing a pint of this, a very well-done lager
