COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A sweet still ice cider, available in 375ml bottles. 2009 vintage.
A unique product for the UK, taking the principles of ice-wine production and applying them to apples! Blenheim Orange and Laxtons Superb apples were chosen for their delicate flavour and balance. The juice was frozen and allowed to thaw yielding a terrifically sweet concentrated juice. With spiced apple, orange, apricot and honey on the nose and palate this special cider is perfect partnered with fruity desserts, or with good strong hard cheeses.

Smagt hos J & C. Smag af madæble, flot gul og rolig, meget sød, rigtig lækker, mellem fylde, cremet og blød, dejlig.

Bottle 375ml. @ UK-SCO Tasting in Ulfborg.

[ Courtesy of Fin ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate to heavy apples, floury apple, red apple, fruity - honey notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, very concentrated apple, dry dry finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. Lovely ice cider and then only a 7% ice cider. >;O) [20110409]

Bottle at Jan & Charlottes tasting, Ulfborg, Denmark 09.04.11 cheers Jan & Charlotte Pours gold with excellent clarity. Very sweet but for once the sweetness doesn’t detract as there is so much complexity here and there is some dryness. Really easy drinking , full flavoured very concentrated explosion of juicy apples, some honey and rich ripe juicy sweet apples, marvellous. This is stunning, a few stray bubbles pop too the surface, I could drink more of this quite easily. Great stuff again from Dragon Orchard. A8 A5 T9 P4 Ov17 4.3
