Bottle into pint glass. Looks great, though head gone quickly. smells great. Smooth on the tongue. Sweetness is interesting, but too much to drink more than one. Great as an after dinner drink

Bland stout. Nothing wrong...but much inferior to most stouts. Ingredient line listed tons of stuff that is unnecessary in quality stouts!

Bottle bought from the LCBO inCornwall, ON. Poured into a shaker. Deep brown/black in colour, with a toffee-coloured head that holds for a good while. Delicate lacing on the glass. Aromas of vanilla, alcohol, banana and overripe fruit. Heavy, creamy mouthfeel, prominent alcohol heat. Taste was VERY sweet for a stout - flavours of blackstrap molasses, raisins, dates, booze...what a Christmas plum pudding would be if it were a stout :-) Really more like a heavy porter than a stout, this beer - not my cup of tea, but glad I got the chance to try it anyway.

Pours a very dark brown colour with a beige head. Aromas of toffee and alcohol. The taste is very full with hints of liquorice, tobacco and banana. Quite sweet and rather creamy. A decent alcoholic strength gives this stout plenty of backbone. Nice dry finish with sweet, vanilla overtones. A good foreign stout.

Bottle. Pour is black with a caramel head, aroma is alcohol, toffee, sweetness. Taste is alcohol, sweetness, light toffee, body is thin and carbonation is gentle. Quite enjoyable, although it is rather on the sweet side

Black beer with a creamy head and yeasty smell of fruit and malt. Flavour is light sour fruit. Not much body to it but it’s not watery either. Not special but drinkable all the same.
