Multiple tastings. Getting caught up on my life beer list ... drank some of these while in Jamaica. Not the best stout I ever had but I would rather be in Jamaica drinking one of these than where I am now.

Beer made by rum-makers. Sugary alcohol can be felt throughout. Extremely interesting brew, though I can’t see myself having it again. Great experience.

pours black with the slightest warm brown at the edges, like dark brown oil paint right out of the tube. Smells of a molasses, hop infusions, bit of booze. Thin tan head. Some apple sweetness. Taste has a strong sweetness and apple juice to it, along with honey, molasses. Good, but I don’t think I could drink much.

Served from a 12 oz bottle while in George Town, Cayman Island on the honeymoon cruise. The appearance is deep mahogany (thank goodness for some darkness!!!) and a creamy brown head. The aromas and flavors are sweet chocolate and cereal. Mouth has some mild carbonation.
