3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Classic foreign stout with a dragon on the label. Dark beige foam with reddish hue, thick and lacing, relatively stable; colour a very dark ruby red, near to black, clear. Aroma of cassis, figues, walnuts, whisky, brown sugar, peat, pear syrup, coffee grounds. Taste begins with a restricted sweetness, medium carbonation, turning deeply malty (chocolate, nuts) with dried and candied fruits, light sourishness, ending in a light but sufficiently powerful roasted coffee bitter, though the caramelly, mellow sweetness keeps dominating the whole flavour trail. Interesting and well-balanced, I could have this any day.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Whole Foods. Hazy blackish pour with 1-finger tan head that laces well. Nose is charred black malts, hops, some smoke. Not a great smell. Tastes roasty black malty, with notes of cacao, brown sugar, caramel, and a milk stouty, creamy finish with backup hops. This one tastes a lot better than it smells.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
284 ml bottle. Pours very dark nearly black with a thin off white head. Aroma of alcohol is the first thing you notice then dark fruits and caramel. The taste is a bit of let down as it is too sweet with minimal hops. The palate is very smooth and oily with limited carbonation but you wouldn’t notice the level of alcohol. Overall an unbalanced beer that is not very satisfying

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from pirate beer store on 7 mile beach in grand cayman. Nose is very wine like with grape and alcohol taste. Weak carbonation and heavy wine like alcohol taste.
This is well-named. Jamaicans do dragons not so well. I think Asians would do Them better.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A sweet kick at the start with a surprising bitter after taste but it is also quite two toned it tastes artificially sweet and also thin. Tasted more like a dunkel.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (Old Notes)-Pours black with a small head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and dark fruit. Taste of the same with a bit of alcohol and sugar. This medium bodied brew was not the best but then again I wasn’t expecting much.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Dark malts and some mixed fruit in the aroma. Flavour is quite sweet and malty, lots of fruit notes. Some nice flavours here, but you can taste the added sugars, which throws it off a little. Mixed feelings about this one.
