Pours dark with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla, molasses and chocolate. Flavor is overly sweet but not to the point of being offensive. Needs balance, but is a decent brew.

Dark Brown with Sandy Ring. Coffee Roasts, Chocolate and Vanilla Aroma. Medium Bodied. On the Tongue....Nice Coffee Roasts, Along with Nicely Balanced Chocolate and Vanilla. Even Keeled and Hearty. Overall a Nice Stout.

Bottle. Solid black appearance and poor head retention. Coffee is the first aroma out of the gate, followed by slight nuances of molasses and chocolate. Easygoing palate. The flavour is three-packs-of-sugar sweet, tasting somewhat like a glass of cola with a drop of coffee and cocoa powder dropped in. Could use more coffee or wood effects to help balance the sweetness, but is fun nonetheless.

black with a medium sized tan head. boozy aroma with notes of bitter dark chocolate and red wine. flavor is bittersweet dark chocolate, red wine, and syrup. why the small 284ml bottle?....cheap asses. much better than lion heart stout though.

284mL bottle. Super dark brown. very thin tan head. Aroma of a Hard, Chocolate flavored, Candy. Over-caramelized sugars flavor. Very, very sweet. Cola syrup, simple syrup made of cane sugar. Slight milk stout sourness in the finish. Not very yummy. But this one is strong!!!

Bottled (BB 05/2008)
Very dark ruby color, tiny expresso head. Dark fruits, coffee beans and molasses in the nose. Fizzy carbonation. Coca cola -sweetness: cane sugar, milk chocolate and molasses. Quite light for this ABV as a stout. Not really alcoholic. Like a sweetened version of Guinness FES. I didn’t like much this one, usually these tropical stouts are tastier.
