Not an amazing drink but gives a chow mein or jerk pork/chicken a real kick when used in cooking!

Pours black with a tan head. The nutty aroma is very mild and quite sweet. Also smell chocolate, roasted malt and vanilla. Flavour follows the aroma and is also mild.

Vestergaard (687) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - APR 12, 2015
Bottle thanks to LukasMH. Pours black with a small, brown head. Aroma is surprisingly not very roasty. Very malty and sweet, and with some corn. Taste is pretty sweet as well. No roast, no bitterness. More light a strong pilsner of some kind. Oh well. Not particularly bad!

Dacrza (584) - Great Meadows, New Jersey, USA - APR 9, 2015
DATE TASTED: April 9, 2015... GLASSWARE: Guinness retro pint... OCCASION: a stout battle--Lion vs. Dragon... APPEARANCE: a jet black body that sees its brown head thin with some tracings and crests of lace... AROMA: some caramel to start, with pungent sugars and bubblegum; malts are dry biscuit; hops are tough to isolate... PALATE: lively, thick as molasses and creamy at the finish--fizzy at the teeth... TASTE: sugary sweet, with some mint leaves, pear and apple, and cola--a thin profile that doesn’t deter its drinker from enjoyment, but does limit the conversation about it; some cherry factors in late... OVERALL: a beer that hides its alcohol content well; the ending flavor suggests a slight astringency; the wee bottles (9.6 fluid ounces) seem quaint but stunted...a loser to the Lion Stout, but little shame in that...

MunBro (685) - St. Albert, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 15, 2015
Dark pour, nice foamy tan head. Strange flavour for a stout. Lots of roasted barley and malt flavours but also a lot of funk.

sdg (102) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 13, 2015
Black color, brown head - intense malt aroma, dark fruits, caramel, simple syrup, some hints of dark chocolate - taste: heavy sweetness - full body, thick and creamy texture, soft carbonation - long sweet fruity finish.
