May 12, 2008 Cask Conditioned Ale. Excellent creamy head. Had it at Graydon’s Crossing. Great Malt Character and disguised alcohol content. A brown/amber. The best I’ve had from the Royal Oak Scotts.

Oct 11, 2007 On tap @ the brew pub: Pours a reddish amber color with no head. Aroma, toffee, and some other rich malts, brown sugar. Flavor, sweet and malty up front, brown sugar, toffee and caramel. Solid brew.

Aug 14, 2007 on tap at the brewery..reddish-brown hue with small beige head..aroma of brown sugar, maple syrup, dark fruit, chocolate, and alcohol..heavy sugar in the body with dark fruits, resinous hops, and alcohol..nice

Dec 15, 2005 Draft at the Brewery. Pours dark brown with a very thin head. Aroma is malty with some fruit notes. Body is a bit light for my taste and could use some more bitterness. Overall this is a good beer however.

Oct 4, 2005 On tap at the brewery. Chestnut colored beer with a very thin head. Earthy, sweet malts, light peat notes, some chocolate. Medium full body, no alcohol prescence. Tasty beer.
