4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 mvp (86) - Harper Woods, Michigan, USA - FEB 17, 2007Most people would disagree, I think this is dragonmead’s best belgian style beer. Slight banana and bread aroma. Yellow hue with a white head and excellent lacing.
I did have this beer at a different time. (Different batch) It didn’t taste as good.

On tap at Dragonmead. Poured typical hazy banana yellow with almost no head.. Smelled of lemon, wheat, and clove. Taste was a nice lemony citrus, with nice wheat flavors. Thin body, as it didn’t retain carbonation well, but good flavor.

At the brewery. Lots of lace on a cloudy medium yellow. Creamy. Bitter and I did not get the sourness or wateriness, no question they got their act together on this one and that’s why it’s released over a year later. Good for its style.
