Rciesla (712), Brick City, New Jersey, USA Jul 8, 2008 Bottle. Amber with white head. Some copper floral notes, a bit of earhty grass and some grapefruit. I didnt love the hops used. kieleszd (70), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jun 30, 2008 Cask conditioned. Excellent IPA drinksl like a brown ale. Dark, bold color. Mild hops, great balance. The head was subtle and the last drop cherished. sneagrams3 (1342), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Jun 2, 2008 Tasted 6/1/08. 12oz bottle. Hazy with an amber hue. White ring of head. Honey and grape aromas. Crackers and cranberries. Medium bodied with an initial sweet moderate malt flavor. Middle palate holds an odd metallic taste. Bitter hoppy finish. Grapefruit and grassy hop profile. Estery undertones. Woody and berry notes. Sticky lingering finish. Par. Rogueone (291), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 19, 2008 Draft @ Brewpub: Pretty pour, almost a ruby color. Aroma of citrus and a hint of vinegar. Tastes bready, perhaps a bit of honey, but nowhere near the hop finish I was hoping for. A bit rough on the palate. jeremyd365 (64), Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA Apr 13, 2008 Poured a very dark copper with a decent head which stuck around for almost the entire beer. Smelled very sweet and slightly spicey. Tasted sweet with perhaps a hint of honey. Finishes with an interesting and delicious smoothness that makes this beer very drinkable. I would definitely recommend this brew!
