On tap at Dragonmead. Poured a small sized creamy and smooth ivory head with fine-small sized bubbles that mostly diminished. The body was uncarbonated, transparent and the hue was red. The aroma was malty and caramel. The flavor was caramel and hops with a lingering aftertaste. The mouthfeel was smooth and this beer was medium bodied.

Sample at Dragonmead on 7/23/11. Clear brown pour with a medium beige head. Malty aroma with a bit of roast and earthy hops. Faint malty flavor with some earthy hops on the finish.

Dark ruby mahogany pour with a small ring of white lacing. Caramel, nutty, roast aroma with a hint of brown sugar. Flavor is lots of roasty malt, caramel, slight chocolate, toasted almond and a faint bitterness on the finish. Creamy medium body.

Ahhh, a brown ale, one of life’s simple pleasures. This one was as enjoyable as most with a nice roasted malt flavor. Some smoke added an interesting touch. This brown was smoother than most and even creamy in the mouth.

on tap at the brewery. poured a reddish brown with a light tan head.aroma light chocolate, cherries, malts, hops, caramels,. flavor weak, malts, chocolate, hops, cherries, dry chalky mouth feel. this was not a bad beer I just wish the flavors were a little bit more robust.

On tap: Big roasty and nutty aroma. Dark reddish-brown with and off-white head. Real nice lacing. Flavor is roasted malt up front with a nutty finish. Light chocolate in the finish as well. Decent brown ale.

This draft brew from the brewery poured a small head of finely sized off-white colored mostly lasting bubbles. The body was uncarbonated semi-transparent and dark red brown colored. It had a hoppy Irish red ale aroma and a tingly mildly vinuous mouth feel. The flavor contained notes of mild red and brown malts.
