Commercial Description:
Another fine example of the English style. This Bitter is more robust than the best bitter but still with an excellent balance between hops and malt. Pale Ale Malt along with Aromatic and Crystal malts combine with the Galena and Fuggles hops to create a sure-fire favorite.

Dark brown body with a khaki head. The aroma is rich caramel with some toast and black tea. The taste has some rich notes of black tea and toffee. There is also some light quality tobacco. A well made and fairly strong tasting ESB that is a little on the sweet side. Pretty rich.

Dark brown/reddish in color, clear, with a small off white head. Great, fantabulous aroma, at least for my tastes. I bought a 4-pack, and 2 of the bottles were 90% head after the first pour. Nevertheless, the beer is quite flavorful, with caramel and medium body, slightly sweet at times but not too much. Bitterness is average, which works well with this brew. Great work by Dragonmead on this one. If only they could get that carbonation thing down.

Aroma of flowers, honey, caramel, and citrus. Off-white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is caramel, citrus, honey, flowers. Good medium-light bodied and soft. Really good and my favorite from this brewery so far.

Bottle from Belo Vino. Poured a clear deep amber with an average rocky off-white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet malt and hoppy aroma. Medium body with soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with an average bitter finish of medium duration.

Fairly balanced. Maltly backbone. Not too sweet, highly carbonated, drinkable. Nicely balanced bitterness. Overall pretty nice.
