CaptainCougar (4599), Rockville, Maryland, USA Dec 16, 2007 On tap at the 2007 GABF: Pours a transparent copper amber with a small, frothy light tan head. Aroma of slightly grassy, musty woody character and a touch of sweet caramel. Body starts somewhat thin and semi-sweet with a touch of yeast and sweet wheat, but not very true to style. sliffy (1930), Columbus, Ohio, USA Oct 11, 2007 On tap @ the brew pub: Pours a brown color with a tan head. Aroma, wheat, chocolate and some fruits. Flavor, chocolate, fruity, wheat, and some spice. Not bad. kp (6000), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Date: 04/28/2007

alexsdad06 (554), Ohio, USA Jul 6, 2007 Sampled from a growler @ DLD 4/28/07. Pours a cloudy dark brown color with a mostly lasting beige head. Aroma is grainy malt with hints of fruit. The flavor is sweet malt with a little bit of fruit. Medium mouthfeel. This was an enjoyable beer but not spectacular. I would like to try this when it is definitely fresh (not that this wasn’t, I just don’t know).
