This is a true West Coast IPA–it is pale in color, with with bracing bitterness, high alcohol content (about 7.3% abv) and a fruity/floral/citrus hop aroma. It is made from a simple malt bill: North American base and pale caramel malt. We use copious amounts of Northwest hops all throughout the boil, with most of it going in within the last 15 minutes. After fermentation is complete, we dry hop it with approximately 1 boatload of each of the same hop varieties. 16.5°

16 oz. can split by Willrunforbeer. Canned 12/30/2015. Orange / Amber color with fast dying carbonation. Aroma is a pine forest. For real, a pine bomb.

Flavor starts with candied oranges and grapefruits with a light malty center. The malt is vanquished quickly by the assertive pine bitterness that says, I am a West Coast IPA and if you don’t like pine, go screw yourself". Yes, this beer spoke to me.

Overall light Citra cat piss notes but more pine then anything. Overall pretty nicely made.

Can from trade., dated 12/30/15. Thanks, greenh0rn! Pours red gold with an off white head. Aroma is quite dank, a hInt of citrus. Flavor has honey, caramel, grapefruit peel. Lemon and grass bitter on the finish. Tastes like a higher abv than 7.3.

(En fût au Ermanos): Une concoction collantes et sapinée, laissant sur la langue un bonbon houblon amer, floral et vert en plus des agrumes pales. Moins bon que ce à quoi on m’avait préparé mais quand même agréable.

Pours a very clear and bright golden/orange with a medium white head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma is dank, herbal and scalliony. Flavor follows suit and adds some earthy, resinous bitterness...some mild caramely malt backing. Mouthfeel is medium / full and a bit oily with a dry earthy/resinous finish.

Draft @ TUS Radisson. Nice hoppy aroma. Clear, light amber color. No head, or really any bubbles at all, and pretty flat carbonation. Flavor has a nice malt/hop balance. A pretty good citrusy bitterness. Medium bodied. Overall, a good tasting IPA, that would’ve undoubtedly been better if properly carbonated. Did not taste as strong as it was.

Draft. A stunning brew, brilliantly clear and shiny copper in color with a sticky head of pure white. The aroma is equally powerful, with a pungent blend of strawberry, grapefruit, grass and orange blossom honey. All these are present in the flavor as well, though grassy bitterness is most prominent and toasty crackers are added at the finish. Silky medium-light body; fairly high pinching CO2. Finishes sparkling clean with moderate bitterness. Maybe the best IPA in the state.
