3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Kaminsky in Leuven. Very cloudy orange pour.
Aroma: my first impression was something like a wheat beer, but it is not. Interesting spicyness. Probably the effect of the gruut.
The taste is sweet and spicy.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Orange color, hazy off-white head. nose: malts (slightly unfresh), spices, honey (?), citrus, peppery, overall, nose needs some time to open. Taste: malts, a lot of spices, yeast. medium carbonation, bit creamy, soft, smooth. Dry finish, bitter, but with a sweet touch. Somwhat (without being bad) a fry ending. Overall, nice brew, nice change, not the typical beer.
Addition: this beer is made with "gruut", explaining the complexity of nose and taste.
