COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Pale Ale. For batch number 1500, Josh & Brian decided to brew a big hoppy beer, yet make it quaffable by keeping the alcohol level down. Turns out everyone liked it so much, that it is now brewed year-round. Loads of Simcoe and Amarillo hops are blended in the fermenter, just after fermentation has finished, to impart a huge aroma of pine and citrus.

Aroma:
Medium aroma of malts, caramel, fruit, hops and citrus.

Appearance:
Turbid golden/amber beer with a slight/medium off-white head.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.

Overall:
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Super malty and fruity together with a soft palate, making it extremely drinkable and refreshing. Does nothing wrong, but never stands out at the same time.

Bottled on 19 Jan 2016. Fairly clear amber with small white head. Grassy and piney hop aromas, tangerine, pineapple, apricot, light caramel malt. The taste has a nice crusty bready malt, tangerine, passionfruit, pineapple, pine. Light bodied, good carbonation. Excellent pale ale.

355mL bottle from International Beer collector. BB 01/19/16 Orange gold body, dense white head. Moderate intensity nose - peach, apricot & citrus hops, toasty, biscuity almost vanilla-like malt. Full bodied, nice touch of chewiness about it, moderate-low carbonation. Apricot/stonefruit & melon hop notes continue on the body, that nice sweet biscuity malt in there too, suprisingly restrained bitterness for style (especially for an American one!). Quite enjoyed this one!

Pours copper orange with a white head. The aroma had grapefruit, point and lightly toasted malt. It has a medium crisp body with mild carbonation. The gate has the aroma notes and is very classic West coast. The grapefruit zest really jumps on the finish. Quite good.

From a bottle into a Sierra Nevada tulip glass. Pours transluscent amber gold with head and lace. Aroma of malt, grains and floral hops. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of rich grains, pale malt, cereal, straw hops, minerals. Overall full bodied, flavorful.

Draught at potches place, San Carlos. Medium head. Clear solid yellow color. Fresh hop aroma with tropical fruit. Thinn body that gives a dry crisp finnish. Very tropical taste. Medium to big bitterness. Nice APA.

Slightly hazy deep golden color with slightly off-white head. Aroma has some citrusy and piney hops, slightly dank and vegetal. Taste follows, citrusy, slightly resiny and grassy hops, a bit of underlying malt sweetness, medium bitterness on the finish but mostly in the aftertaste. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Overall it’s a classic, easy drinking pale ale.
