4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
"Session" beer thatís BELOW 4%. YES!!
This bready American Pale Ale has a solid malt character and a lovely whiff of citra and Simcoe pine and grass. Grapefruit in the taste, but the aromatics are all West Coast greenery. The water dominates the malts, but thatís intentional. For 3.8%, this brew packs a great malt taste and solid hop bitterness. Clean finish, and itís light appearance says Pale Ale but also says drinkability. Looks unfiltered, great lace... more taste than most beers at this alcohol volume.
Very happy to have tried it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear golden color with ivory head. Spicy, dank, cat spray, hoppy aromas. Medium bodied. Dusty, spicy hop, light fruity flavors on a flimsy cracker malt base brew___lightly drying finish---pale ale light.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 25, 2013 Bottle from a 4-pack. And another one and another one. Up there with Green Flashís 5% Citra beer as a killer hoppy session ale. Hits just the right notes. You donít need me to describe this for you -- if it sounds like your thing -- bet it is!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at the Grad in Davis CA. Not much too it. Pale yellow in color with a little bit of hop. Not bad for a session beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a bright orange with a small white head which fades to okay lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, dank hops, sweet malts, and some herbal hop notes. Taste is pretty simar to the aroma. Has a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi dry, semi bitter, medium finish. Overall, a tast, refeshing and highly sessionable APA.

Had a sample in a flight at Mohawk Bend. Solid, but strangely herbal. Refreshing, nicely hoppy.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not sure how to rate this one, interesting blend, not quite a pale ale nor a wheat ale, a blend between the two, hard to replicate.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap at Apex
A: Dull copper color with a crisp bubbly white head.
N: Lots of pineapple and grapefruit. Some pine and earth, though Iíd call this fairly non-descript.
T: The taste is moderately bitter with a light sweetness. Thereís not much to say about this other than that itís clean.
M: Light and moderately sticky.
O: A decent quaffer. Not something Iíd order very often (and I had some high hopes for it, because a 3.8% session beer is a great thing), but it does work to refresh the palate.
