COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship amber ale is brewed with English malt, hops and yeast. The extra malt lends a lightly toasted, chocolate flavor, a tawny color, and a smooth, rich character; it's perfect for sipping one or enjoying many.

Bottle: Dirty amber, fairly dark, lots of chunks floating about, moderate light beige head, frothy, so-so lacing, light carbonation.   Malty, biscuity, buttscotch nose.   Soft malt start, semi-sweet, although the sweetness seems somewhat artificial, with a big earthy finish.   A bit more hop on the exit, but doesnít seem all too clean.   Slight astringency lingers.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Tiz okay, but not my bag I guess.   Thanks Dan!

lusikka (6264) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 23, 2012
Draught @ Pacific Coast Brewing Company, Oakland. Rated on 19.10.2012.
Pours an amber colour with a white head. Aroma of toasted malts, dry grassy notes and some earth. Flavour is rather rich with toasted malts, strong grassy hops, earth and subtle caramel sweetness. Medium bodied, slick mouthfeel and a bitter, slightly sweet finish. Enjoyable.

Aroma is grassy hops, caramel, toffee, and a little bit of roastiness. Complex aroma for an amber. Pours a hazy dark amber with nice head retention throughout the life of the beer. Flavor is nice mild bitter grassy hops, caramel, and some nice roast sweetness. This is a surprisingly complex amber ale. It finishes with a little citrus and a pleasant sweetness.

Bottle: Amber color, nice sticky head and lacing. Sweet toast, bread, rich malts, nice subtle hops. The flavor is rich and balanced, toasty umami. Lots of rich backdrop and malts. Nice finish, lightly bitter.

Orange gold color. Medium white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, malty and sweet. A medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity and slightly sweet. Hops are grapefruity and spicy. Well balanced. Itís a little hoppy and spicy for an amber, but it does keep it from being the same as every other amber out there. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Bottle. Courtesy of stoutlover72. Thanks Garrett! Cloudy amber pour. Small fizzy tan head that recedes rather quickly. Nose is caramel, sweet malts, light citrus hops, and cocoa. Taste is malty and somewhat sweet but has a nice hop balance to it. Some light cocoa, caramel, hints of pine and light citrus notes. Body is creamy and smooth. Medium overall feel and a pleasant carbonation tingle. Finishes with more caramel, sweet malts, citrus notes and light cocoa. Really nice beer! Great session style beer!

Cloudy, uh, well, amber color. Nice tan head. Malty, bready, mildly spicy aroma. Upon her first sip, The Bride announced that this was way too flavorful for an amber - Spicy sweet, with prominent dark bread and cereal flavors, on a syrupy smooth palate. Like me, itís rich and smooth (except Iím not rich. or smooth). Crisp dry finish. Thanks to Darkelf for the Trade!

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear deep amber colored body under a fizzy and fluffy beige head that left lots of sticky lacing. Nice lightly sweet smelling toasted malt nose with some light floral hops and a touch of toffee. The flavor is dry toasted and slightly nutty malt with a light hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with a slightly grainy finish and moderate fizzy carbonation. All around, a pretty nice beer. Alot of character and flavor for a typically boring style.

Excellent aroms. Hops, piny and molassess. I like this. Thick and hoppy in the back, it has a nice but wierd balance of malts and hops. Just a little thin at times though.
