COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship amber ale is brewed with English malt, hops and yeast. The extra malt lends a lightly toasted, chocolate flavor, a tawny color, and a smooth, rich character; it's perfect for sipping one or enjoying many.

I’m not a big Amber fan, but this one was quite nice. Malt and sweetness fill the nose and mouth. Not too complex, but a very nice refreshing amber.

Hazy medium brown color with a creamy beige head. Good head retention and lacing. Bready malts with a chocolatey tinge. Also some toast and caramel. Flavor has some cocoa and toast with lighter orange and butter notes. Sort of earthy and maybe a bit vegetal. Nice heft to the body but not a very clean mouthfeel. Reasonably drinkable.

Very balanced amber. this not my style. not a fan of crytal malt. But good for style some crystal and caramel malt note light bittering I would guess in the 16-20 IBU range. session beer.

Clear dark copper brown with a thin off-white head. Toasty earthy caramel aroma has some English hop notes. Body starts with some pleasant light crystal malty sweetness, well-balanced with a bittering piney hop finish. A nice, drinkable and flavorful amber with mild toasted chocolate subtleties.

Very rich, caramelly, malty, toffee, amber. Little head but good lacing, very dark appearance. Leans almost toward Stout range. Interesting and good, would buy a single again, not sure about a six pack.

Bottled. Pours a dark amber color with quite a bit of sediment floating about. Aroma is malty with some caramel, some hops are present as well. Mildly hoppy right up front. Fairly hoppy for an amber with the right amount of maltiness for balance.

12 oz bottle, Hennepin glass, Noogfest. Brown-amber hue with a medium, off white head. Aroma of caramel, treacle, honey, maple syrup and a floral hint. Astonishingly huge aroma for an amber ale. HUGE, I say. However, the flavor is rather disappointing. In fact, if I rated upon crushed dreams this would get a ’1’ for flavor. But I don’t. Decent taste, feels kind of watered down, light caramel sweetness throughout with a moderate floral bite to the finish. Medium bodied with a watery texture and soft carbonation.

Bottle: Dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma, caramel and a light hoppy presence. Flavor was caramel and some toffee, with a mild bitterness.

Medium malty aroma. Hazy reddish apricot color with a vigorous tan/white head. Starts with a malty sweetness, there’s an interestingly unusual flavor component, then an earthy component. It’s not a typical amber. It’s really quite good. There’s a carob type of flavor in there. Decent mouthfeel.

Courtesy aspidites and stoutlover72. Clear amber and a small, off white cap. Nose of toasty, bicuity malt and some crisp, lightly sharp hops. Similar flavor with some cocoa powder. Tastes English. Medium/light body, balanced. Very drinkable.
