COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship amber ale is brewed with English malt, hops and yeast. The extra malt lends a lightly toasted, chocolate flavor, a tawny color, and a smooth, rich character; it's perfect for sipping one or enjoying many.

Bottle courtesy of the very generous aspidites! Thanks Mike! Poured a nice amber color with a beautiful creamy head. Smelled like malts and apples. Taste was sweet malts, citrus, and caramel. I enjoyed this one. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours with a voluminous, light brown, creamy head. Hazed amber body. Great lace. Aroma of toffee, crystal malt, light hops. Taste is nutty and woody with a bit of caramel. Slightly metallic. Fizzy.

12oz bottle. Rating #112. Hazy dark amber pour with a huge tan head. Light sweetness and some caramel. Smooth, more caramel sweetness with a touch of toast. Not bad. (2072)

Pours dark amber with a nice khaki head. Aroma is fruity with minerals. A bit metallic. The flavor is fairly sweet with some dark fruit, bread, and a mildly spiced hop finish. Full bodied for an amber ale.

12oz bottle pours a dark brown body with a very thin tan head. Aroma is bready malt with some subtle caramel and chocolate notes. Flavors follows aroma, but also brings along much more hop character. Very nice, complex amber ale. The wife approves, as well.

Slightly floral, citrus nose, a little lemon. Hops in the flavor are prevalent but there is a decent chocolatiness that is pretty nice. A little hard to put down, but a well balanced beer.

Bottle: Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Roasted malt aroma of light chocolate and mellow coffee notes. The flavor is iced coffee with a bit of sweetener, but the kind where you can taste the grounds. It makes this a not too sweet amber ale and closer to a porter. Not bad. Thanks Jordan.

From the Jug at the GABF, Colorado Convention Center 13/10/2007 Slightly rich malt aroma. Golden coloured hoppy and a little spicy with some bitterness in a crisp malt finish.

Pours significantly darker than I expected. Nutty and malty. Chestnut. Not even caramel as I was expecting from the color. It’s a malty beer, but a dry maltiness. Not really roasty either. Yeah, there’s hops, but they give more of a spice than anything else. Almost peppery and cinnamon. Very strange beer. Not bad at all, but just not what I expect from an amber.
