COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aroma Coma is our summer seasonal India Pale Ale. We’ve brewed it annually since 2009 for a local IPA festival, where it was selected one of the top three beers in the competition. The malt bill consists of almost all 2-row barley malt, with a touch of Caramalt for body - leaving you with a delightfully hop-forward experience. Generous amounts of Cascade, Chinook, CTZ & Citra hops create the citrus, pine, and floral notes. Breathe ’Em in and enjoy!

No joke. I want to have sex with the way this beer smells. Sweet and funky. I have never smelled any beer that even touches this level if attraction. It is giving of pheromones. Okay enough on that. On to taste. If they fermented a 50-50 bar (creamcicle) it would be not too far off. The hops are perfect and I can't say enough so I will shut up. Thank you Drake's. P.S. Bottle. Aroma is perfect balance of sweet juicy citrus and funk hop - so good. Body is juicy too, with a light taste mandarins with pine needle aroma in the finish. Great great beer up front by the finish is less mind melting. Great beer though...

Draft @ Drakes. Clear light amber with a foamy white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops, tropical fruit and light malt. Flavor is firmly bitter with light sweet malt balance and dry alcohol in the finish. Medium body with a long bitter, dry mouth feel. Very good IPA, fresh, bitter and dry.

Tap @ The BeerMongers... Poured pale, golden/amber with a nice forming head. Aroma of dank, citrus, earthy and resinous-spiced hops. Nice citrus and earthy hops on this one. A little drying which accentuated the hops. And balanced but some sweetness, a hint of caramel, and bready malt characters.

Bomber at City Beer SF. Golden orange. Aroma hits on the grassy, heavy citric hop thing: some orange, grapefruit and light pine needles. Taste gives some brief sharp pine and citrus, light orange, and pithy grapefruit. Touch of fairly stodgy biscuit malt in there. Lots of residual herbs and grapefruit breakfast juice. Plenty of pithy bitterness going on. Decent.

fluffy white head that lasts, good lace. Clear, gold light copper color. Big nose of pine and resin, citrus explosion and a little dank earthyness. Medium bodied and slick with a just right carbonation. Fruity, tropical, resiny, juicy and just damn nice hop charging. Some silly little pale malts kickin about. Lasting finish is juicy with a nice bite.Nice IPA! Thanks Stefan!

Bottle thanks to brocantsail. Almost clear golden liquid with small to medium white head. Aroma of lemon peel, tangerine, mango, bread, pineapple, lychee and red berries. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of pineapple, tangerine and light bread. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Nice and dry.
