COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aroma Coma is our summer seasonal India Pale Ale. We’ve brewed it annually since 2009 for a local IPA festival, where it was selected one of the top three beers in the competition. The malt bill consists of almost all 2-row barley malt, with a touch of Caramalt for body - leaving you with a delightfully hop-forward experience. Generous amounts of Cascade, Chinook, CTZ & Citra hops create the citrus, pine, and floral notes. Breathe ’Em in and enjoy!

Bottle at Beermongers. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light perfumy head, some citrus and biscuit. The flavor is great: clean, low bitterness, honey, bit sweet oranges, resin, floral. Toast. Very nice.

22oz Bottle: Pours a hazy golden with a small white head. The aroma is so pronounced. Lots of citrus and some pine notes. The taste is very similar with a clean finish. This a very IPA with a great hop character. I would like to try it super fresh.

Big beautiful hop forward beer. Really leans to the piney aspect. It has a nice sweet component. They really nailed it.

The beer poured great with golden straw/orangish color to it, had a nice foamy white head and left good lacing on the glass. The beer smelled outstanding with a definite presence of citra hops right up front that lingers with that solid orange/citrus/bubble gum scent. The beer tasted outstanding as you get an overwhelming taste of resin and pine oil, an earthy undertone, this is really strange because that was not what I was expecting from the nose of the beer...really impressive. The mouthfeel is great with the beer being well carbonated, medium bodied and leaving you very dry. Overall, an outstanding IPA with great characteristics. Highly recommmended.

No joke. I want to have sex with the way this beer smells. Sweet and funky. I have never smelled any beer that even touches this level if attraction. It is giving of pheromones. Okay enough on that. On to taste. If they fermented a 50-50 bar (creamcicle) it would be not too far off. The hops are perfect and I can't say enough so I will shut up. Thank you Drake's. P.S. Will you adopt me? ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Aroma is perfect balance of sweet juicy citrus and funk hop - so good. Body is juicy too, with a light taste mandarins with pine needle aroma in the finish. Great great beer up front by the finish is less mind melting. Great beer though...

Draft @ Drakes. Clear light amber with a foamy white head. Aroma of floral and citrus hops, tropical fruit and light malt. Flavor is firmly bitter with light sweet malt balance and dry alcohol in the finish. Medium body with a long bitter, dry mouth feel. Very good IPA, fresh, bitter and dry.

Bomber shared up at Proof. Copper pour. Hoppy aroma, lemony citrus. Tastes are caramel malt, citrus zest, moderately sweet, astringent, piney. 6.8
