COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Aroma Coma is our summer seasonal India Pale Ale. We’ve brewed it annually since 2009 for a local IPA festival, where it was selected one of the top three beers in the competition. The malt bill consists of almost all 2-row barley malt, with a touch of Caramalt for body - leaving you with a delightfully hop-forward experience. Generous amounts of Cascade, Chinook, CTZ & Citra hops create the citrus, pine, and floral notes. Breathe ’Em in and enjoy!

A - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orange color with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some nice lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of floral, citrus, and pine hops with some sweet caramel and biscuit malts. T - Starts off with a mix of grapefruit and citrus hops with some bitterness and some sweet caramel malts. Through the middle, some floral and pine hops come through with some biscuit malts. The finish is a mix of reisny pine and citrus hops, bitterness, and some sweet bready malts. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a dry, bitter, and resiny finish. D - Very drinkable. Nice strong hop profile with some good bitterness. Good overall balance.

A big IBU. A tad of age in the aroma, and off flavour in the finish, yet still a good IPA. Very drinkable. Big bubbly head on golden body. Mike’s bottle from SF.

Mostly clear golden colour with a lively head. Muted aroma but sports a hoppy pine cone profile and exotic peach note. Hoppy taste profile, almost medium bodied but lacks any real finish or jump. filtered, reduced, no malts. i’m not as impressed as I should have been.

22oz bottle. Hazy golden pour with a nearly white head. Big fresh grapefruit on the nose with a hint of malt in the background. Lots of big grapefruit and passionfruit on the palate with not much else at all. Pretty one dimensional.

GABF, 2012. Good. This is a balanced IPA with lightly sweet malt and fresh, citrus hops. Good flavor, I expect this is best very fresh. Very good hop aroma.

Apricot color with little head. Medium citrus aroma. Taste is dry and bitter. Citrus is not reflected much in the flavor.

Sampled at GABF 2012. Pours a hazy orange body with thick white head and lots of lacing. Aroma is super fresh pine and a tropical burst of citrus. Mouthfeel is medium, nicely carbonated and balanced with notes of tropical fruits, grapefruit, pine, light dank herbal flavor and a muted, dry floral finish.
