Tasted at the Bistro IPA fest. The aroma on this one was very fruity and piney. The taste was the same, but much more delicate than the other IPA’s. Lighter bodied too. Nice and refreshing if not that impressive.

Bottle from bleeng. Thanks!
Pours a deep, thick cheddar orange with a nose of orange, sweetened lemon, grapefruit syrup, and a touch of pine. Flavor is fresh orange, grapefruit candy, light biscuit, and a touch of pine. Oily mouthfeel. Excellent IPA.

A gift from SJ. A nice and easy drinking IPA with some well , blended complexities. Earth, Caramel malt, bread, grapefruit, and herbs make this an enjoyable brew.

10/1/11 notes: draft. Pours a lighter “tropical” orange-ruby, nice fluffy lacing. Aroma has big orange and tangerine – both fruit and pith. Body is on light, cleaner side, flavors are very hop forward without excessive bitterness. Finishes soft, mild florality, juicy yet restrained. So pleasant, attractive, utterly drinkable.

Bottle courtesy of ocbeersociety, says summer seasonal, uh oh it’s midnovember. some off flavor in there, light aroma, piney and floral body bitter finish, drank 2 pliny’s right before it so it’s really not fair

Draft at GABF. Pours a hop-hazed gold with a thick white head. Nose is fantastic. Big herbal notes, cannabis and some citrus notes as well. On tasting, big and easy bitterness, clean ferment with more dank hopping. Big pop of hops and really good stuff. Fantastic.

Bomber thanks to Jimmy. Pours bright hazy gold with a small white head. Nice citrusy, fresh hop nose. Taste is fully hop forward, with a strong lingering bitterness. Not much in the way of malts-one dimensional. Just a bit sticky. Fades just a bit on the end. Alcohol slightly evident on the finish. Overall a solid IPA.

Hazy blonde. Thin head. Massive dank aroma. Bitter, herbal, weedy with light pale malt. Very, very nice IPA, clean and richly hopped.

Bomber poured into tulip glass. Aroma is perfect, huge nose on this thing; kiwi, passionfruit overall citrus zing. Appearance is clear and dark orange. Taste is not as citrus forward as the nose is, its actual more bitter than the nose. Palate is on the thin side as the body of the beer is not as robust as say Alesmith. Overall a great beer, just want the flavor to be more in line with the aroma (coma!). Drakes has raised their game lately.
