COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Drake’s Black Robusto Porter is a deep, dark “Robust Porter,” a beer style known for being darker, fuller-bodied, and higher in alcohol by volume than a standard Brown Porter. Our Black Robusto goes down smoothly with flavors of bittersweet chocolate an slight roast from Crystal and Chocolate malt. A touch of spicy, herbal hop character from Willamette hops balance out the finish. Enjoy a pint with dark, lingering satisfaction.

Pours two fingers of tan head on a black body. The aroma is rich roasted malt, chocolate, a little burnt wood and milk. Excellent. The taste burnt, roasted malt with some chocolate to smooth it out. It stays on the roasty/bitter side. The texture is softer with low carbonation. Nicely done.

On tap at the brewery. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some dark chocolate and coffee, light smokiness, hints of bitterness, and light notes of dark fruits. Flavor the same. Average texture. A solid porter.

Pours dark brown/black with a large mocha head, this beer smells of a lot of chocolate and some bitter coffee taste. Taste like chocolate and some coffee bitterness in the back, along with other notes such as caramel as well as biscuit.

Enjoyed at dinner with Zach and Brandon with homemade Indian food. Pours a dark black color with a nice java head. Nose is sublime chocolate and deliciously so with sweet malt as well. Taste is rich chocolate, light with sweet malt, drinks quite easily. Finish is sweet chocolate, dessert on a bottle. Nice light porter. Quaff Score 8 / 10

Nice coffee aroma. It has the right caramel taste, but the aftertaste goes too sour to enjoy before the next gulp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
