2015 bourbon BA Drakonic. Moderate to heavy barrel. Very smooth, with fudge, oak, booze and vanilla. Good stuff :)

Corked and Caged 2015 Vintage Bottle (1 Pint, .9 Fluid Ounces) of Drakonic Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels. 11.4% ABV. Black tar pour with a sudsy layer of mocha foam. Big notes of charred malt, molasses, bittersweet chocolate, bourbon barrel and coffee in the aroma. Flavor starts with a heavy dose of roasted malt, dark chocolate fudge and espresso along with some vanilla and bourbon toward the end. Mouthfeel is moderately dense and creamy with low carbonation and more chocolate and char in the finish. Definitely one of the more decadent BB Imperial Stouts. Good stuff.

A bit better then their Robustito Porter. Pours a beautiful deep black with a thick tan head. Smells of bourbon and caramel. No vanilla like the Robustito. Taste is better balanced. Lots of caramel to accentuate the bourbon.

Draft at Churchill’s. Black pour, with a small tan head. Milk chocolate, moderate roasted malt, bourbon barrel character, vanilla, and notes of raisin. Unfortunately, tasting next to Finest Hour, makes this beer feel thin amd watery.

>> Red highlights on an inky black pour. Nose is milk chocolate, tannic Cab grapes, richer barrel, praline. Taste is powerful bitter chocolate, praline, milk balls, spicy alcohol, salt. Palate is silky, not too sticky.
