COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
100% Belgian Triple aged in a Pinot Noir barrel and briefly expposed to the San Leandro atmosphere. An excellent lead-off hit when going into sour left field. It was the year of the pitcher this past year, but this beer still hits with a budding tartness that balances the body which is still present and unconsumed.

Draft. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Malt and tart aroma. Tart/sour flavor with light sweetness and light wine. Medium bodied. Tartness/sour notes linger with light malt and light oak. WHat you’d expect from a soured triple with some of the yeast taken away.

On tap at the Bistro Barrel Fest. Grabbed a couple samples of this as I enjoyed it well. Poured an orange amber with almost no head. A nice sour flavor, funky and tart. Some sweetness on the finish. Lightly carbed. Overall a very tasty brew and one of my favs from Drakes on tap at the event.

Tasted at the Bistro Barrel aged fest. It pours golden orange with a tall white head. The aroma is sour tangerines/peaches, with some lemon and orange. The flavor is the same. Lots of tart fruits. Not much barrel presence. Nice yeast and brett sensations in the finish.

On tap at Bistro BA Fest poured a hazy orange amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of horse blanket, citrus and oak. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry lightly tart finish. Flavors of horse blanket, citrus, light oak and light straw with a crisp dry lightly tart funky finish.

Another year, another Drake’s sour tripel named after a baseball player named "Brett" at the Bistro Barrel Aged Fest. Next year, maybe Bret Boone? No, that’s just one ’t’ so it won’t work...or will it? This one is hazy amber in color, and a one-finger white head sits on top. Some lacing present. The aroma is pretty nice - sweet pale malts, Belgian yeast, and some nice fruity notes, citrus and peach, as well as oak. A pretty nice base tripel flavor, slightly sweet with pale malts and maybe a touch of caramel, oak, sour citrus, and red wine, with medium tartness level. Medium-full bodied with a good level of acidity, not too intense. A pretty well-done "baseball series" sour beer from Drake’s.

Pours hazy golden with a thin white head. Nose is hunk and citrus with some slight sweet malt. The flavor is sweet malt and peaches in the front, followed by light Brett funk. Very nice, lasting oak finish.

On tap at the Bistro BA festival. Pours cloudy orange with a nice off-white head and a sour fruit aroma. There is a sour caramel malt flavor with just a little hop bitterness.

On tap at the Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Fest. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head leaving huge lacing on the glass. Aroma is a horse blanket, musty funk. Initial taste is sweet, followed by a funky tartness. Yeast on the finish. Light body. Light-medium carbonation. Tasty beer.
