4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a very crisp IPA, with hints of grapefruit and citrus. Nice and strong and a decent amount of bitters make this one formidable beer. Do not drink this if you have things to do. One of my go-to beers, I love this stuff.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle purchased from Bring on the Beer.
I didnít hear a hiss when I popped the cap but with the pour, a deep gold with a 1 finger head of foam, my worries got the hell out of Dodge. Another brew here with fine lacing. It looks great.
Bready malt, caramel malt, dominate the nose. Oh shoot, this bottle has already been aged for me. Bottled on May 10th. I guess that explains the lack of any hoppy aromas.
At this stage, it is more of an all malt DIPA and it tastes great! Lots of freshly baked bread like flavour, some caramel sweetness, no hint...zero bitterness and quite the hunk of alcohol heat. It makes me curious as to what a bit of hop bitterness would have been like in a fresh bottle but being only 4 months old, Iíd reckon it couldnít have been too big and bold. The flavours are now starting to wear on me. Great, sadly, has become okay.
Great mouthfeel and thereís now some sort of bitterness going on, Iíd say a bit of roughish pine. Iíve had a few Drake beers and this is most likely my least favourite. Yes, it is. Oh well, the others Iíve had were top notch.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
66cl bottle. Orange pour, no head. Dank tropical fruit, lots of herbs, orange, grapefruit and sweet caramel in the aroma. Plenty of herby and tropical hop character in the taste, big dollop of sweet malt - a mix of caramel and cake dough - pithy grapefruit and more herbal notes to finish. Good whack of piney bitterness too. Pretty good hop hit, especially if you like herby stuff with a dose of caramel.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2013 Hazy orange pour from the bottle. Very citrusy, sharp fruit aroma did not match the powerful and slightly funky bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, but oddly lingering resiny bitter finish. Strong alcohol taste. A rough beer, not balanced or refined.
Would I drink again? no.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle at Deanís stickiest floor tasting. Pours a clear amber with a big white head on top. Dissapates quickly though. Aroma is of leather, grapefruits and caramel. Nice West Coast styled DIPA. Slightly boozed aroma, but suits the beer well. Flavor is mildly bitter, well balanced and very juicy. There are sweet, caramel touches in this beer which makes this beer very interesting. Aweseom, epic brew!!

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Deanoís monthly tasting, September 2013. Poured a clear medium amber with a thin white head and some broken lace. The aroma is rich malty and alcoholic. The flavour is strong bitter, with bags of liqourice and alcohol on the super strong palate. Other friends loved this but its not for me. I like DIPAís but this was a little OTT with not enough hops.
