4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
OMG, this is the highest DIPA I think Iíve ever had. Everything about it was perfect. The only thing Iíd change is it has an ever so slight raw alcahol nuance in the taste. Maybe with such a high ABV, along with body of an DIPA itís hard to hide that?

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 Oz Bottle. The beer pours to a deep amber orange color mostly clear with a very thick white head. The aroma has notes of citrus pine resin some caramel. The taste also has strong such as hop notes that are very bitter upfront taste followed by a smooth finish. Overall an excellent DIPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle at The Local Pub, Halandri.
The bottle did mention the inclusion of Columbus hops.
Nose: Strong phenolic odour with fruity accents and a syrupy sweetness. Apricot, seville orange, strawberry, yeast, honey are some of the aromas.
Mouthfeel: Big bodied with a creamy feel.
Taste: Bittersweet and spicy. Phenolic, funky, alcoholic flavours. Orange marmalade, caramel and more...
Finish: Bittersweet and fruity, with a gentle alcoholic warmth.
Overall: A beer of serious complexity. Great, if you like your DIPA to lean on the sweet side a bit.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. Pours a clear reddish orange color with medium off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, and crystal malt notes. Mild oxidation. Flavor is medium bitterness with mild sweet malt notes. Somewhat restrained for a DIPA, with some fruity sweetness as well. Medium bodied, finishes with touches of over ripe fruit and bitterness.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Good appearance: silky white head and lace everywhere. Smells like a handful of raw hops / hop pellets. Not my gig there.
Fortunately the taste is better: fresh hops, a touch fruity, malt/pine balance is dead on, smooth carb, mmmm. Ends with a kiss of burnt sugar which really adds a lot. This is solid.

A bottle of this found itís way to a bottle swap in De Bierboom, Brugge on 31st Jan 2014: thank you to the unknown kind person.
I managed to grab a good third of a pint from the passing bottle and took a few notes while trying to drink it and not miss anything else interesting that might pass my way: this piece is from those said notes.
Slight haze to my already opened bottle, orange to golden with a grubby white head.
Hops, and more hops, it smells of hops: enough hops already, some maltiness hides behind the huge hop attack. I tried to fend it off by watching a Swiss Saint Bon Chein bottle of unknown vintage fly by: bugger!
This was fine though, especially if youíre into hops. I see an Old Numbskull bottle coming my way: Iíve got to neck this, sorry. Hey thereís Black Damnation over there, I wonder if itís Black Mes? (it was, hurray, I got some)
Christ that was hoppy. Iíll try and give this beer more time and reverence if I come across it again, it deserves better than I gave it.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an almost clear amber, with a frothy head that casually disappates into coarse bubbles. Above average tackiness leads to impressive lacing and a prolonged mouthfeel. Initially floral hop aroma that quickly saturates into an alcoholic rich congac aroma (similar to dogfish 120 minute although not quite as intense). The nose is a little narrow, but intense of dark malt and sugar. This quickly leads to a full scale hop blitzkrieg on the finish as this has one of the most broad & intense hop profiles of any beer Iíve had. There is an also a sharp taste of alcohol, but not unpleasant and more reminiscent of a cognac (per the aroma). Although the strong alcohol stance of this beer could be seen as a shortcoming, the extreme hop spectrum is definitely second to none. I would recommend this to someone who is craving a intensity of palate of a congac/whiskey/bourbon, but desiring the prolonged enjoyability of a full tasting beer. Marketed efficiently with the name Denogginizer, I will definitely be looking for a second chance to have this beer.

650 ml bottle shared at The Local Pub, Athens Greece. Orange copper color, very hazy with a nice white head. Aromas of sweet fruits, pine and caramel, very balanced, with alcohol notes. Taste is bitter upfront, with fruits and pine, with nice bready notes and caramel backing up. Bitter aftertaste. Medium body with low to medium carbonation. Excellent!!
