COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A big, malty beast of a beer that exemplifies the way we roll here at Drake’s. Two-row malt is blended with Chocolate malt, roasted barley, and dark Crystal malts to make up the grist. Only one hop addition, Columbus, is added for bittering, allowing the abundance of malt in this beer to shine through. Enjoy the dense brownish head, the silky maltiness, and flavors of licorice, coffee and chocolate, rounded out with a slightly dry finish. here’s to those who don’t fear the mighty!

Toasty burnt hazelnut, dark chocolate, dry raisins, tobacco, hint of alcohol and a slightly bitter yest smooth aftertaste. Very drinkable.

Thanks to Deuane for bringing this one to our Stout Day party.

A - Pours jet black with a small half finger tall tan head leaving little to no lace down the glass.

S - Smells of chocolate, coffee, smoke, dark fruits, and a weird metallic aroma. The flavors are all there but they are a little muddled together.

T - Starts off with a quick dose of chocolatey sweetness quickly giving way to a mix of light smoke, coffee grounds, dark fruits, and a very faint hop bitterness. The weird metallic flavor continues from the nose, further helping to muddle the flavors. The finish is a mix of dark roast and smoke, lingering on the pallet for some time.

M - Heavy body and flavor with moderately low carbonation. A bit too thin for my liking, I think the low carbonation really hurt this one.

O - I wasn’t really a fan of this one. When compared to all the other stouts we were drinking this was one of the worst.

Bomber shared. Poured a dark brown to almost black. Nice mocha head that disipates quickly. Big roasted malt nose with hints of coffee and lots of black licorice. Oily lacing which leads the bad of this beer. It taste like an oil slick of licorice. You get plenty of chocolate and coffee but its over powered by the licorice. This takes away from a great blend of other ingredients.

Draft @ the source. Aroma is layers of roasted malt is deep, burnt barley, and espresso bean. Layers of rich chocolate richness, hints of vanilla, caramel, coffee. Full body with a creamy texture. Really impressive and well crafted.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a dark brown with beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is roast, cocoa bean, chocolate, and licorice. Slick mouthfeel with strong roast, dark chocolate with lingering dry finish. Good

Solid black appearance with a nice brownish head that lingered and laced a bit. Aroma was a bit underwhelming, but it had a nice chocolatey taste with some hop bitterness as well. Pretty tasty.
