COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We leave the yeast in our authentic Bavarian-style wheat beer to give it a cloudy appearance and creamy texture. This spicy, fruity beer has hints of clove and banana and is crafted for easy drinking.

As a fan of Hefes, I don’t really enjoy this beer. Overall, it seems weak in flavor and aroma. Plus it has a weird aftertaste that I can’t really describe in words.

A - the pour is lightly hazy orange with no head. S - nose is bananas, Belgian yeast and wheat. M - light medium body with a chewy palate and low carb. T - banana esters, cloves, candied orange, nillanwafers. End is a little herbal, and spicy. O - nice Belgiany wheat

Once again...likely a too old bottle, not dated, new on the shelf. But I’m pretty sure most hefes don’t have a dusty smell, and there’s a tartness here that doesn’t seem to belong. Too bad, I was looking forward to this, and it’s mixture of traditional banana/clove aspects and a little more prevelant than usual west coast citrus was nice. There was too much wrong with this brew to really gert into it, though. Just ok."

A good offering of the style here from Drakes. True to form, but a bit louder than most.

Tap at the source. My very first beer from this brewer, excited to be here! Pale hazy gold. aroma is great German yeast phenolics, banana, light citrus and bubblegum. The body is on the lighter side of medium with a refreshing finish. The yeast is light but has all the right flavor. Nice example

Cloudy pale yellow. Nose is great. Tree fruit, wheat and fresh cut hay. Nice banana esthers at the start and finish. Wow the finish is great. Lemon and some pie crust. Clean minor sweet but super drinkable.

[Tap] Light yellow pour with a distinct haze to it. Soapy white foam on top. Light wheat malt and mild lemon nose. Only faint hints of weizen yeast. Flavors of cereal grains, dough, more lemon and light banana esters. Thin palate. More of an American wheat in my book.

Pours a finger of head on a hazy yellow colored body. The aroma is light and airy; mostly dry grain. The taste has lemon bitterness throughout and some grain without going sweet. The texture is nice and fizzy without high carbonation. Drinkable but not memorable.

Draft, ordered by my wife. Amber gold beer with a small white head. Sweet malt, wheat, and clove aroma; flavor follows. Not bad.

Pours a milky yellow with a bright white head. Surprising amount of lacing. Aroma of banana and clove. Definite banana flavor, along with lemon. Rather aqueous palate. Disappointing legs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
